epg.monster is XMLTV. Your playlist (M3U) is separate. The player joins them on tvg-id.

TiviMate / IPTV Smarters / similar

• EPG URL: https://epg.monster/epg.xml.gz or a per-source URL
• Source type: XMLTV / gzip if offered
• Update interval: a few times a day is enough

Kodi (PVR IPTV Simple)

• EPG path = the gzip or epg.php?source= URL
• Cache at the client; don’t refresh every minute

Jellyfin / Plex live

Use XMLTV tuner mapping. Paste the same gzip URL. Map channels by tvg-id, not display name alone.

VLC

VLC can open XMLTV but is a poor EPG client. Prefer a real IPTV player.
